Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC (QISG) seeks a Sr. Project Manager to lead design-build/engineer-procure-construct projects.

You will supervise field operations, manage prime contracts and subcontracts, and coordinate engineering, procurement, scheduling, and construction management teams. You will ensure safety, quality, and environmental stewardship while interfacing with customers to meet milestones and optimize communication on complex energy infrastructure projects in Houston.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field; substitution allowed with experience.
• 10+ years’ experience in Construction Project Management, with DB/EPC projects in power delivery preferred.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in transmission, distribution, and substation work.

Responsibilities

• Manages integrated Design-Build (DB)/Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) teams from inception through completion.
• Provides direction for engineering design and construction activities.
• Administers prime contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
• Ensures safety, quality, and environmental compliance with customer goals.
• Plans, executes, and reports on overall project performance.
• Coordinates with customers to ensure effective communication and project milestones.
• Supervises project management staff and coordinates with PMs, CM’s and site safety.
• Responds to RFIs and oversees value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Develops procurement status reports and schedules of values.
• Monitors progress of design, engineering, and construction activities.
• Reviews and approves subcontractor invoices and submittals.
• Prepares monthly progress, budget, and schedule reports.
• Coordinates project close-out and warranty administration.
