Job summary

Clearway Energy Group is seeking an Associate, EPC Procurement to support competitive bid processes and vendor negotiations for wind, solar, and BESS projects. The role collaborates with Project Development, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and other teams to shape EPC RFPs, benchmark market inputs, and drive vendor selection and contract administration.

The position reports to the Senior Manager, Procurement and is hybrid-based in Houston, TX, Scottsdale, AZ, Denver, CO, or San Francisco, CA, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, procurement and supply chain, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum two years’ experience with EPC contracting, procurement, commercial management, or negotiations.
• Project management or procurement experience on renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
• Excellent written and verbal contract language and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support development of sourcing strategies across wind, solar, and BESS EPC projects.
• Coordinate RFx bidding and contracting efforts for EPC contracts.
• Conduct EPC bid reviews and contractor performance assessments.
• Assist in bid levelization and cost-tracking during negotiations.
• Support negotiations to mitigate cost, schedule, and scope risks.
• Align major project agreements with EPC, PPAs, service and maintenance, and warranties.
• Review scopes to ensure interfaces across EPC and equipment packages.
• Develop relationships with EPC partners and drive contracting milestones.
• Gather market intelligence from EPC contractors to inform bids and schedules.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on wind, solar, and BESS contracts.
