Job summary

Quanta Services’ QISG unit seeks an experienced EPC Planning & Scheduling Manager in the Houston area. You will lead a team of Scheduler/Planners, develop master schedules, and coordinate with clients and subcontractors to meet critical milestones.

The role requires deep CPM expertise, Primavera P6 mastery, and a proven ability to drive schedule risk mitigation and proactive solutions across multi-project EPC programs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of EPC construction planning and scheduling experience.
• Experience leading Scheduler/Planner teams.
• Proven ability to build and improve scheduling processes.
• Expert-level Primavera P6 experience.
• Strong understanding of CPM scheduling and schedule analytics.
• Ability to identify schedule drivers and explain impacts.
• Experience partnering with clients and subcontractors.
• Experience with EPC execution across engineering, procurement, and construction.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and cost/schedule reporting.
• Strong leadership and communication and stakeholder management skills.
• EPC or large-scale industrial EPC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Scheduler/Planners for complex EPC projects.
• Build and grow the planning team by establishing processes and standards.
• Provide leadership for integrated project planning, scheduling, forecasting, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain EPC master schedules aligned with milestones.
• Partner with clients and subcontractors to resolve schedule challenges.
• Own critical path analysis and communicate key schedule drivers and risks.
• Analyze logic, lag/lead time, and resource impacts on completion dates.
• Challenge schedule assumptions and develop mitigation plans.
• Oversee CPM and LSM schedule development with cost/resource loading.
• Lead schedule reviews, baselines, forecasts, and change management.
• Perform schedule risk analysis and time impact analysis (TIA).
• Oversee EVM, KPIs, and cost/schedule performance reporting.
• Establish scheduling standards and improve planning discipline.
• Support proposals, pursuit, and project startup planning.
