Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is seeking a Construction Project Manager to support EPC Project Managers from pre-construction through completion and warranty phases. You will oversee day-to-day field operations, safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, and client relations across multiple projects.

Responsibilities include planning, risk reviews, procurement, staffing, and ensuring adherence to safety programs and company policies. Travel to project sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant project management experience in construction.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access).
• Experience with document control, scheduling, and cost control; PM software preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong organization, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and ensure safe, quality, on-time project delivery.
• Plan, schedule, estimate, and manage cost development and objectives.
• Develop and maintain client relationships; manage proposals and project items.
• Negotiate contracts and change orders; manage risk reviews.
• Coordinate with engineering, field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers.
