Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Senior Field Clinical Specialist - Electrophysiology for the Southeast region. This field-based role provides clinical and technical support for EP technologies and studies, collaborating with Clinical Affairs, investigators and cross-functional teams.

The candidate will travel up to 75% during trial enrollment, build site partnerships, and ensure protocol adherence while delivering expert trial oversight and education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or biological sciences, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressively responsible EP clinical work experience.
• EP clinical background and field-based experience preferred.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills; ability to present and influence at multiple levels.
• Travel up to 75% during active trial enrollment periods; ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide field support for enrollment and procedures in EP therapy area.
• Serve as technology, protocol and clinical trial expert for Abbott stakeholders and sites.
• Develop and maintain productive clinical territory knowledge and site relationships.
• Coordinate start-up activities, contract/budget escalations, and site training on protocol requirements and technology.
• Collaborate with Clinical Affairs, Medical Affairs, R&D, marketing and education to advance EP BU projects.
• Act as a scientific interface with healthcare professionals and provide product education materials.
