Leonardo DRS in Cypress, CA seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple EO/IR technology-development and flight-hardware programs. You will drive integrated master schedules, manage risks, and serve as primary interface with customers and internal teams.

The role requires 7+ years in program management for aerospace/defense, strong leadership, and experience with EVMS and regulatory compliance. Onsite with potential for hybrid work; relocation available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of program-management experience, preferably EO/IR space systems.
• Experience leading development programs from proposal through delivery and sustainment.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and contracts.
• Experience with integrated master schedules, budgets, EVMS, and performance reporting.
• Familiarity with export-control requirements and government regulations.
• Strong leadership, judgement, problem-solving, presentation, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ownership and initiative in fast-paced programs.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily execution of EO/IR sensor and flight-hardware programs per contract requirements.
• Establish and maintain integrated product team structure from kickoff to closeout.
• Develop and maintain integrated master schedules and program plans.
• Lead technical and programmatic integration across system, payload, and support functions.
• Establish baselines for scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and performance.
• Manage contract budgets and provide timely status to senior management.
• Perform EVMS reporting and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Identify and mitigate program risks and opportunities throughout lifecycle.
• Lead program reviews and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Serve as primary customer interface and manage expectations.
• Coordinate with Contracts, Engineering, and Supply Chain on deliverables and compliance.
• Support bid/proposal activities and collaboration with Business Development.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and export-control requirements.
