Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Ecology, or other related field.
• 4+ years of relevant work experience in consulting or regulatory environment, in the environmental science field.
• Ability to work well and self-motivate in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to work in variable conditions, including uneven ground and access to remote sites.
• Ability to obtain certification in FHWA/INDOT NEPA.
• Strong team player with effective internal & external communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Experience with ARC GIS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare NEPA documentation and conduct wetland and waterway delineations.
• Prepare delineation reports, waterway permits, and related mitigation plans.
• Coordinate with government agencies to identify resources affected by projects.
• Develop plans and technical reports documenting environmental impacts.
• Assist in public participation and outreach for projects.
• Review reports and ensure quality control per guidelines.
