Responsibilities

• Engage, direct, and manage professional consulting firms for landfill tasks including permits, construction plans, site monitoring, and regulatory submissions.
• Maintain strong relationships with regulators; represent us in permit meetings, hearings, and inspections; act as community liaison at conferences.
• Oversee landfill design-to-approval including consultant and contractor management, budget oversight, bid preparation, contract administration, QA firms, and material procurement.
• Manage and track capital budgets for engineering and construction projects; report to local management and corporate leadership.
• Coordinate landfill capacity tracking to optimize assets, including airspace calculations, projections, and fill sequencing plans.
• Conduct regular site evaluations to ensure compliance with construction and permit documentation; identify expansion opportunities.
