Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Preferred specializations: Civil, Chemical, Environmental Engineering.
• Experience in construction and landfill operations (min five years).
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Engage, direct, and manage consulting firms for tasks at solid waste facilities, including permit applications and construction plans.
• Maintain relationships with regulators and represent company in permit meetings and site inspections.
• Oversee landfill construction projects from design to final approval with budget oversight and QA coordination.
• Manage capital budgets and reporting to local management and corporate leadership.
• Coordinate landfill capacity tracking, airspace calculations, and fill sequencing plans.
• Mentor and train technical staff to foster growth and expertise.
