Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of environmental services or healthcare facility maintenance.
• Experience in terminal cleaning and waste management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced floor care including stripping, waxing, buffing, and deep-cleaning carpets.
• Handles hazardous, infectious, and noninfectious waste per OSHA and EPA policies.
• Executes terminal cleaning and disinfection in high-risk areas (OR, ICU).
• Trains and mentors new Environmental Services staff.
• Supports special projects and emergency cleanup efforts.
• Moves and arranges furniture and equipment as needed.
• Monitors supplies and reports shortages to minimize waste.
• Identifies and reports maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintains regular attendance and complies with policies.
