Job summary

Maul Foster & Alongi, Inc. (MFA) seeks an Environmental Scientist for our Bend office. You will lead environmental projects, work directly with clients and regulators, and apply your technical expertise across assessment and cleanup efforts.

This role offers growth in project leadership and exposure to diverse environmental challenges. You will manage multiple projects, mentor staff, and engage in training and business development, with a focus on Pacific Northwest outcomes and client

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in environmental science, biology, chemistry, or a related physical science.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience with growth in technical responsibility.
• Experience with environmental assessment and cleanup projects, including sampling, data interpretation, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing or contributing to projects, including budgeting, scheduling, invoicing, and tracking performance.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
