Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Biology, Ecology or Physical Science with environmental emphasis.
• Seven or more years of environmental or project management experience, preferably in consulting.
• PM certification and IL Professional Geologist license preferred.
• Strong client management and communication skills.
• Travel to client sites required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute environmental projects from site assessments to permitting.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and win work.
• Oversee projects to manage scope and budget and ensure invoicing accuracy.
• Maintain project schedules and meet deadlines.
• Prepare contracts, statements of qualifications and fee proposals.
• Communicate with clients and team on complex matters.
• Conduct site visits and fieldwork as needed.
• Develop knowledge of environmental markets and trends.
• Attend meetings and industry events.
• Supervise direct reports.
