Qualifications

• BS in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
• Certified Asbestos Inspector in Maine or able to obtain licensure in Maine.
• CIH or CSP certification preferred.
• Experience with state/federal occupational safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plans, conducts, and supports hazardous building materials assessments (asbestos, lead, PCBs).
• Conducts IAQ assessments and prepares assessment reports.
• Plans, conducts and supports OSHA compliance monitoring and IH testing/monitoring.
• Review and apply State regulations; assist clients in understanding compliance obligations.
• Perform compliance reviews/audits for diverse clients; determine needs and status.
• Develop and implement environmental compliance programs for public and private sector clients.
• Provide laboratory safety technical support including CHP management and audits.
• Prepare technical reports and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Promote new business for the company and your area of expertise.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet schedules in a fast-paced environment.
