Haley Ward, Inc. in Bangor, Maine, seeks a Senior Project Hydrogeologist to lead groundwater and subsurface projects, mentoring teams and guiding clients on regulatory requirements and creative solutions for ESAs, groundwater investigations, remediation, and geophysical surveys.

The role requires a BS in Geology or related field, 10+ years of experience, and licensure as a geologist is preferred. Strong reporting, client coordination, and collaboration with agencies are essential.

Formación

• Minimum 10 years of experience preferred.
• BS in Geology, Civil or Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Registration as Maine Licensed Geologist and/or NH Professional Geologist preferred or ability to obtain.
• HAZWOPER 40 hour preferred or ability to obtain.
• Knowledge of state and federal environmental programs preferred.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and other analytics software.
• Experience with field investigation methods including soil boring and rock core logging, groundwater monitoring wells, sampling, and reporting.
• ArcGIS or CAD experience a plus.
• Geophysical experience a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Designs and oversees data collection methodologies.
• Performs environmental services in field or laboratory settings.
• Oversees field work performed by staff and contractors.
• Coordinates and directs field activities, including logging/sampling and documenting investigations.
• Assists with scope creation, execution, invoicing, while collaborating with project team.
• Coordinates field staff to meet budgets, schedules and scopes of work.
• Authorship of technical reports compliant with ASTM standards.
• Coordination with state and federal agencies.
• Collaborate with business development professionals to grow project and client base.
