CDM Smith is seeking an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Risk Assessor to support Human Health and Ecological projects within the Environmental Services Group. The candidate will assist with regulatory compliance efforts for federal, state, and local environmental programs in CDM Smith’s portfolio.

• Bachelor's degree in Science or related discipline with professional scientist registration/certification OR Master's degree in Science or related discipline.
• 7 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required; frequency contingent on duties and workload.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsabilidades

• Supports site investigations and analysis for human health risk assessments (HHRAs) and ecological risk assessments (ERAs).
• Supports preparation of DQOs, QAPPs, and SAPs.
• Assists in planning for CSEMs, HHRAs, SLERAs, and BERAs of varying complexity.
• Collaborates with scientists, geologists, engineers, and toxicologists on project approaches.
• Provides technical guidance and training to junior staff and mentors them for growth.
• Supports proposals and client interactions for RFPs.
• Contributes to technical knowledge through white papers and presentations.
