Job summary

T&M Associates in New Jersey seeks an Environmental Scientist or Engineer to join our remediation practice as a senior technical specialist, leading complex projects and delivering compliant solutions.

The role includes project management, site investigations, remediation design, regulatory submissions, QA/QC, mentorship for junior staff, collaboration across offices in a hybrid work environment, with a focus on NJDEP Site Remediation Program compliance and periodic travel.

Qualifications

8+ years of environmental consulting experience in site investigations, remediation systems, and long-term operations.
Strong ability to independently manage technical assignments and develop practical solutions.
Experience coordinating project teams and providing guidance to junior staff.

Responsibilities

Lead senior technical execution of remediation projects, including work plans, reports, and regulatory submittals.
Independently evaluate environmental conditions, analyze data, and develop recommendations for complex challenges.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and scientists.
Serve as Project Manager on environmental investigation projects with NJDEP Site Remediation Program focus.
Collaborate with Project Managers, LSRPs, Engineers, and Scientists to meet technical standards and client objectives.
Perform technical reviews and QA/QC to ensure accuracy and compliance across deliverables.
Prepare technical and cost proposals and assess project risks.
