Senior Construction Manager

We are looking for a Senior Construction Manager with proven on‑time delivery and budget management capabilities to provide construction phase support services for multiple simultaneous projects valued up to $250 M each. The role can be based anywhere in the western United States, with anticipated projects in California between Fresno and northern Los Angeles.

Responsibilities
  • Lead construction management for environmental construction, site remediation, civil construction, and decommissioning projects for key oil and gas clients in the US West Region. Additional opportunities include water, transportation, coastal, environmental, and energy projects.
  • Manage construction project controls: develop, deliver, and manage budget plans and schedules, monitor and perform budget progress and post‑calculations.
  • Provide insights and reporting: design and create reporting strategies and templates, lead execution of complex reports, and communicate findings to client teams.
  • Collaborate on project development: lead procurement efforts, including proposal and interview preparation.
  • Offer construction advice: give specialist professional advice on construction regulations, best practice, constructability, cost evaluations, and sequencing.
  • Develop knowledge management: create policies, best practices, case studies, and internal knowledge‑sharing sessions.
  • Build personal capability: maintain external accreditations, stay current with regulations and industry best practices through professional development.
  • Analyse bids and tenders: conduct feasibility studies on RFP and RFT projects, review specifications.
  • Ensure operational compliance: monitor and review performance and behavior to resolve non‑compliance.
  • Manage client relationships: support senior colleagues or manage transactional client and customer relationships.
Qualifications

Education
