Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental health/science or physical/biological science; transcripts required.
• Certified to perform Florida food inspections as CEHP or RS/REHS.
• Minimum 3 years of field inspections in multiple EPH programs.
• Current Driver’s License and transportation to inspect Hillsborough County.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and perform inspections.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of CEH program projects.
• Conduct routine field inspections across EPH programs.
• Serve as Food Hygiene Coordinator for Hillsborough County.
• Document violations and educate on public health requirements.
• Provide training to new and existing inspectors.
• Coordinate with the state office on policies and compliance.
