Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a Project Technical Leader to drive technical delivery across design and non-design projects within the Global Delivery Excellence Framework.

You will coordinate design content, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with PMs and sales teams to win and execute projects in water, wastewater, pipelines, and related systems. Domestic/international travel is expected; PE license is highly regarded.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering.
Professional Engineering (PE) license.
10 years of related experience.
Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the technical content of both design and non-design projects, focusing on proactive delivery.
Create engineering designs of water and wastewater facilities, pipelines, and related systems.
Review draft designs and reports for compliance with regulations and standards.
Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff; mentor engineers.
Collaborate with sales staff to prepare proposals in response to RFPs.
Engage with clients to review current and future design needs and attend relevant conferences.
Support design reviews and ensure alignment with location specifications.
