Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Project Technical Leader (PTL) to drive the technical vision of complex water and wastewater projects. You will coordinate design and non-design content with the Project Manager, guiding junior staff and contributing to technical knowledge through papers and designs.

Domestic travel is possible based on project needs. The role requires a Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering background, a PE license, and about 10 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline is required.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is required.
• Approximately 10 years of related experience; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical content of design and non-design projects within the Global Delivery Excellence Framework.
• Develop engineering designs for water/wastewater facilities, pipelines, and related systems.
• Review designs for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and sign off on completed designs.
