Weston Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Scientist to lead environmental investigations, remediation, and emergency response projects protecting public health and the environment.

The role suits an experienced technical leader who can guide complex field efforts, make technical decisions, and deliver high-quality client outcomes. This critical project will ramp up soon, with onboarding aligned to kickoff schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Environmental Science, Geoscience, Engineering, Physical Science, Life Science, or related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in environmental investigations, remediation, or emergency response.
• Experience leading complex investigations or remediation projects with hazardous substances.
• Ability to guide technical decisions, manage priorities, and mentor staff.
• Experience managing field operations, subcontractors, and project budgets.
• Experience developing and reviewing reports and work plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex environmental investigations and remediation programs from planning through completion.
• Manage project execution to meet scope, budget, schedule, and client expectations.
• Oversee field investigations and sampling at active sites.
• Direct field staff, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Analyze data and develop defensible conclusions and project strategies.
• Prepare reports, work plans, QA documents, and health and safety plans.
• Review scopes and deliverables for quality and consistency.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Communicate objectives and progress to clients and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior staff and evaluate new technologies for projects.
