Position Overview

As a Senior Environmental Project Manager, you will be part of the Environmental team within the Energy Services Sector, based in Houston, Florida, or Remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage environmental permitting, regulatory strategies, field surveys, and construction compliance for energy-related projects.
• Develop and maintain environmental policies and procedures for project compliance.
• Manage and prepare permitting applications for agencies like FERC, EPA, USACE, USFWS, and state/local authorities.
• Coordinate with firms conducting environmental and cultural resource surveys, land use mapping, and related activities.
• Prepare and review documents for NEPA and FERC compliance.
• Prepare biological assessments for ESA Section 7 consultations.
• Develop proposals and cost estimates for client contracts.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Geology, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years managing environmental permitting, NEPA documentation, or related consulting for oil and gas projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite.
• Deep knowledge of environmental regulations from FERC, EPA, USACE, USFWS, and state agencies.
• Strong project management, business development, and client relationship skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with technical writing experience.
