Job summary

GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc. in Plymouth Meeting, PA is seeking a mid-level Environmental Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager to join our growing office.

You will advance from technical contributor to project leader, work with environmental engineers, geologists, and remediation experts, and build lasting client relationships. The role requires 5–10 years of environmental consulting experience, PE licensure, and strong skills in managing investigations and remediation projects to

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience at consulting engineering firms.
• Strong regulatory knowledge of Pennsylvania and New Jersey environmental laws.
• Experience managing environmental investigations and remediation projects.
• Completion of 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and current 8-hr refresher.
• Availability to travel locally and regionally.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Principals to plan, organize, and conduct environmental site investigations and remediation projects.
• Lead and document field investigations and environmental remedial actions.
• Conduct and review technical analyses/calculations.
• Prepare construction specifications and drawings.
• Develop health and safety plans and manage implementation and compliance with GZA Health and Safety programs, policies, and procedures during on-site activities.
• Monitor subcontractor performance for compliance with contractual agreements and budgets.
• Prepare environmental reports and work plans with junior staff under Principal guidance and review.
• Provide business development support and assist in proposal preparation.
• Communicate effectively and efficiently with clients and team members.
• Mentor junior staff, sharing your knowledge while growing your leadership skills and the strength of the GZA team.
