Job summary

Professional Project Services, Inc. in Knoxville, TN, seeks a Project Manager IV for direct hire to lead environmental, engineering and architectural projects typically ranging from $50,000 to $250,000.

Under limited supervision, you will supervise project teams, manage schedules and budgets, coordinate subcontractors, and interface with clients to establish objectives and resolve issues. DOE project experience and PMP are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering required.
• 10+ years of engineering or project management experience.
• DOE projects or programs experience preferred.
• Able to read engineering drawings and documents.
• Able to write routine and non-routine reports and correspondence.
• Able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Able to communicate with multiple stakeholders.
• Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Runs routine, small to mid-scale environmental, engineering, and/or architectural projects.
• Supervises and directs technical and project efforts including schedule and budget.
• Handles routine projects typically more than $50,000 but less than $250,000 in scope.
• Develops and coordinates schedules, budgets, subcontractors and permits as needed.
• Obtains approvals, permits, etc., as required by regulations and codes.
• Reviews cost estimates and schedule changes.
• Prepares and coordinates reports, studies and calculations.
• Leads client conferences/meetings to establish objectives and resolve issues.
• Directs work efforts of project personnel.
• Demonstrates ability to get along with coworkers, customers and visitors.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
