Job summary

ECS Group of Companies in Tampa, FL is seeking an Environmental Senior Project Manager to lead complex environmental consulting projects from proposal through closeout. You will provide technical leadership, oversee projects, manage client relationships, mentor staff, and ensure safe, profitable delivery in line with ECS standards.

The role requires 5 years of related experience, a relevant degree, and licensure eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related environmental consulting experience.
• Bachelor's and/or Master's in Civil/Environmental Eng or related field.
• Ability to obtain local license within 3 months of hire.
• Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting.
• Excellent project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor junior staff across projects.
• Manage environmental projects from proposal to closeout.
• Serve as primary client contact and build relationships.
• Oversee budgets, profitability, invoicing, and collections.
• Review change orders and budgeting adjustments.
• Direct staffing and resource allocation for multiple projects.
• Prepare environmental reports and site work plans.
