Job summary

EnSafe seeks an Environmental Geologist or Engineer (Environmental Project Manager) to join the Nashville, TN office. You will lead investigations and remediation projects, manage technical teams, and collaborate with clients and regulators in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes mentorship, business development support, and expanding client relationships while traveling as needed. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET-accredited college in Geology or Engineering (Chemical, Civil, Environmental).
• 10+ years of environmental assessment/remediation experience.
• Current OSHA 40-hr. HAZWOPER training and certification.
• Willingness to travel including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee project work with environmental investigations and remediation oversight.
• Direct technical teams, prepare plans/specifications, and meet with clients and subcontractors.
• Communicate with clients, regulators, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Develop Work Plans and/or Sampling and Analysis Plans.
• Conduct site investigations: soil, groundwater, surface water, indoor air, vapor intrusion, soil gas, drinking water.
• Lead Phase I and II ESAs and interpret data.
