Job summary

Langan is seeking a Senior Project Environmental Engineer, Scientist, or Geologist to join its collaborative team in Irvine, CA. You will identify and manage environmental/engineering projects, conduct research and analysis, and supervise field investigations and lab work.

You will lead diverse projects, solve problems, and help restore the environment while protecting communities. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or Science.
• 10+ years of practical experience with environmental investigations and remediation projects.
• Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• Knowledge of EPA, CERCLA, and RCRA regulations.
• Strong people, project, and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analyses for portions of engineering and environmental projects.
• Identify and pursue new clients; develop work within projects; attend business development meetings.
• Provide oversight and management of junior staff; coach and motivate Environmental teams.
• Supervise field activities and ensure data collection and lab analyses meet budget and schedule.
• Organize, write, and edit reports, proposals, and documents.
• Coordinate cross-location teams and interface with clients, contractors, and staff.
• Perform other duties as requested.
