Langan provides expert land development engineering and environmental consulting services across the U.S. and abroad. The Irvine, CA team performs site exploration, contaminated site investigations, soil and groundwater sampling, and remediation design and monitoring on complex projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• 1+ years of work-related experience.
• Internship or professional work preferred.
• EIT Certification or FE registration preferred.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections and environmental investigations.
• Perform air, soil, gas, groundwater sampling and remediation of contaminated properties.
• Assist with planning and execution of field investigations by logging borings, collecting samples, performing field tests, and recording data.
• Field oversight of remediation activities and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Identify and implement solutions and document results; communicate with supervisor on problems.
• Assist with preparation of technical reports, specifications, and plans; data management and evaluation; and environmental assessment and remediation.
• Perform other duties as requested.
