Job summary

Langan is seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager with a specialization in Power Generation and Transmission projects to join its collaborative team in Houston, Dallas, or Austin Texas.

This individual will serve a key function in identifying and managing environmental/engineering projects and proposals, conducting engineering research and analysis, and supervising field investigations and laboratory analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or Science; master's preferred.
• 10+ years of related environmental engineering experience, focusing on power generation projects.
• Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• Experience with US EPA regulations and environmental guidance.
• CCR (Coal Combustion Residuals) expertise is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analyses for power generation and transmission projects.
• Identify and pursue new clients and develop work within projects.
• Oversee junior staff and provide coaching and hiring participation.
• Supervise field activities and ensure accurate data collection and lab analyses.
• Manage multiple projects within budgets and deadlines; prepare reports and invoices.
• Draft proposals and edit technical documents.
• Coordinate with other offices and disciplines as needed.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and project personnel.
• Perform other duties as requested.
