Job summary

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services seeks a Senior Environmental Project Manager with a focus on Power Generation and Transmission to join our team in Houston, Dallas, or Austin, Texas. This role identifies and manages environmental/engineering projects, conducts research and analysis, and supervises field investigations and lab work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or Science.
• 10+ years of environmental engineering experience with a focus on power generation projects.
• CCR (Coal Combustion Residuals) expertise is a plus; regulatory compliance knowledge.
• Experience with US EPA regulations and environmental guidance.
• 10+ years of investigations and remediation project experience.
• Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analyses for portions of environmental projects, especially power generation and transmission.
• Identify and pursue new clients; develop work within existing projects; attend business development meetings.
• Oversee junior staff; coach, train, and motivate team on Environmental projects.
• Supervise field activities; ensure accurate data collection and lab analyses within budget and time.
• Manage multiple projects within budgets and deadlines; prepare reports and invoices.
