Job summary

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services seeks a Senior Environmental Project Manager with a focus on Power Generation and Transmission to join our collaborative team across multiple offices including Chicago IL, Pittsburgh PA, Cleveland OH, Indianapolis IN or Milwaukee WI.

This individual will identify and manage environmental projects and proposals, conduct engineering research and analysis, and supervise field investigations and laboratory analyses.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of environmental engineering experience with a concentration in power generation projects.
• Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• CCR (Coal Combustion Residuals) expertise is a plus.
• Experience with US EPA regulations and environmental guidance.
• Strong leadership, people and client management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analyses for power generation and transmission projects.
• Identify and pursue new clients; develop work within existing projects.
• Oversee junior staff; coach and mentor.
• Supervise field activities and ensure data quality and timely analyses.
• Manage multiple projects within budgets and schedules; draft reports and invoices.
• Write and edit reports and proposals.
• Coordinate with other offices and disciplines.
• Interface with clients, contractors, and project personnel.
• Perform other duties as requested.
