Job summary

Remedial Construction Services, L.P. (RECON) is seeking a Project Manager to oversee daily operations for earthwork, cap closure and environmental remediation projects.

You will lead field crews and heavy equipment operations to ensure safety, schedule adherence and budget targets across the Western region. The role entails coordinating safety programs, contract administration, procurement, risk management, and client relations to achieve on-time, quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field, or equivalent experience in mine reclamation/remediation project management.
• Strong leadership and financial management capabilities with a track record of meeting goals.
• Proficient MS Word, Excel, Project, Outlook and Teams; scheduling tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of project execution from planning through closeout.
• Lead field crews and manage safety programs across sites.
• Coordinate pre-bid planning, startup, contract administration, and change orders.
• Control costs, procure materials, and manage subcontractors.
• Maintain daily progress reporting and KPIs for status updates.
• Develop forecasts and communicate project status to stakeholders.
• Foster client relationships and ensure timely payments.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams.
• Prepare and track invoices in line with contracts.
