Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Environmental Planning Project Manager to expand CEQA and NEPA services in Southern California. You will collaborate across HDR's Transportation, Resources, Water, BES, Architecture, and Federal groups to develop opportunities, manage and deliver projects, and mentor staff.

The role requires strong self-motivation, technical capability, and leadership. You will manage environmental studies and documentation, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure deliverables

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and related professional experience
• 10 years related experience
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience
• Familiar with Microsoft Office, estimating and scheduling software, project management software
• Ability to interact with various design teams, excellent organizational, project management and communication skills
• Active participation in employee-owned culture

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle
• Responsible for project assignment regardless of size or complexity
• Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently
• Establish client relations and participate in marketing, contractual, design and production meetings
• Conduct work sessions for deliverable development with staff and stakeholders
• Coordinate staffing and workload to ensure on-time completion
• Track financial aspects and ensure budget and schedule compliance
• Collaborate with leadership for periodic project reviews and QA/QC procedures
• Supervise large project staffs and mentor junior project managers
• Perform other duties as needed
