Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related field with 4+ years environmental experience.
• Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related field with 8+ years environmental experience.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state environmental permitting processes (NEPA, FERC, CWA, ESA, NHPA).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies to support environmental permitting and compliance activities.
• Lead environmental permitting activities, including preparation and submission of permit applications, environmental studies, regulatory documentation, permitting schedules, and consultant coordination.
• Interpret and apply environmental regulations to support project development, construction, operation, and maintenance.
• Evaluate environmental risks, conduct compliance audits and due diligence assessments, recommend mitigation measures, and support regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical expertise in environmental regulations and permitting programs such as NEPA, FERC, CWA, ESA, and NHPA.
• Monitor permit conditions and environmental obligations during construction and project completion.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and communications for leadership and regulatory agencies.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field; 4+ years environmental experience
