ERM is seeking a Managing Consultant, Environmental Scientist Project Manager to lead environmental permitting and NEPA efforts for large-scale energy and infrastructure projects. Based in Charleston, WV, you will guide regulatory analyses, engage with regulators and stakeholders, and deliver high-quality environmental strategies.

You will manage complex projects, work with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure client satisfaction while advancing ERM's sustainability mission.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in environmental science, natural resources management, ecology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years (8 years preferred) of consulting experience in NEPA impact assessment and multi-media permitting.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional technical writing and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage environmental permitting and compliance for renewable energy, transmission, and oil & gas projects.
• Oversee ESA consultations, develop Habitat Conservation Plans, and prepare mitigation strategies.
• Deliver NEPA-compliant impact assessments and management plans, ensuring regulatory alignment.
• Provide strategic guidance to clients, identifying opportunities to add business value.
• Maintain high standards for health & safety, financial performance, and client satisfaction.
