Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental studies, management, wetland science, planning, geography, or related field.
• 4+ years (8 years preferred) of project management, licensing, and permitting experience in energy sectors.
• Experience preparing NEPA-type documents for federal/state agencies.
• Experience with federal, state, and local permitting for energy projects.
• Experience assisting clients in obtaining permits for new or expanded facilities.
• Experience coordinating desktop and online studies, GIS, and map interpretation (NWI, USGS, aerial photography).
• Strong analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills; client-facing experience.
• Ability to multi-task, travel, and work independently; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-media permitting and regulatory compliance for energy and technology infrastructure projects.
• Manage NEPA-related projects and provide project delivery support to ERM clients.
• Contribute to permitting strategies, due diligence, impact assessments, and quality control.
• Oversee preparation of permitting documents; ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Support business development and client relationship growth; develop proposals.
