Job summary

Stantec is seeking an exceptionally talented individual with keen interest in permitting complex pipeline and energy projects to join our Gulf region team. The role focuses on managing FERC-regulated natural gas or liquids pipeline permits, NEPA compliance, and coordination with agencies and clients.

The successful candidate will bring 7+ years of experience in environmental permitting, strong written and verbal communication, and a track record of delivering regulatory submissions on time.

Qualifications

• Experience managing pipeline projects with regulatory responsibilities.
• Direct experience with FERC permit applications and NEPA processes.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and project management for oil & gas midstream permitting and energy transition projects.
• Manage permit applications and agency coordination for species, 404/10, CZMA, and Section 106.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, including pursuing new business and proposals.
• Create and review technical documents supporting regulatory submissions.
• Support HSSE policies and collaborate with safety professionals across project phases.
