SOCOTEC is seeking a Senior-Level Environmental Manager to lead the Environmental Department, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive project success. The role focuses on remediation, investigations, permitting, and storm water management, coordinating with clients and corporate principals to deliver high-quality environmental projects.

The ideal candidate will have a PE or equivalent certification, 10+ years in environmental engineering, and strong leadership, communication, and mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil (Environmental) Engineering or Environmental Science; Master's preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Environmental Engineering/oversight.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
• Experience on PennDOT projects and other PA/MD/DE agencies.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage Environmental Department and staff.
• Oversee environmental/engineering projects from inception to completion within scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
• Ensure projects comply with environmental regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Develop and implement environmental management plans.
• Coordinate with other corporate departments regarding project management and staff workload.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior environmental professionals and engineers.
• Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and presentations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, clients, and stakeholders.
