Job summary

AECOM is seeking an Environmental Project Manager for its Nuclear and Radiological Services Group within the Southeast Environmental Planning & Permitting practice. The role leads teams and oversees environmental assessment report development for nuclear license renewals or new nuclear projects.

The position requires managing staff and projects, coordinating field data collection, and delivering multi-disciplinary documents while engaging clients and regulators.

Qualifications

• Experience leading environmental assessment report development for nuclear projects.
• Staff and project management experience.
• Familiarity with PM systems and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage preparation of environmental assessment reports (e.g., Environmental Report, Environmental Impact Statement) in support of nuclear projects.
• Develop, manage and administer staff and projects reporting to this role.
• Manage projects to scope, schedule, and budget; complete project management certification within 2 years.
• Coordinate project field and data collection efforts.
• Develop, manage and deliver business strategy, proposals, and interdisciplinary documents.
• Interface with clients and regulatory personnel on complex projects; support business development.
• Enforce a culture of high-quality work and Health & Safety; provide technical support to the EPP Department.
• Collaborate with other offices and practices; mentor junior staff.
• Perform client visits and field activities including overnight travel.
