GAI Consultants is seeking a Senior Environmental Manager to support our Power Generation Environmental Engineering Group, working hybrid at our Homestead PA office. This role involves project planning, design, and permitting services for water resources and water and wastewater projects. General Characteristics

• Well-rounded with experience in consulting, industry standards, and company protocols. Participation in professional societies and industry associations is preferred.

Minimum Years of Experience

• 16+ Years of relevant experience.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences or a related field.

Certification/Licensure

• Driver's License.

Technical Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate project tasks, providing guidance to junior staff and opportunities for their growth in task management and financials.

Project and Task Management

• Begin serving as a Project Manager on midsize to large projects.

Management, Supervision, and Guidance

• Lead the environmental scope of projects, supported by Business Sector Leaders. Manage staff with diverse skills, focusing on career development and technical growth.

Communication, Teamwork, and Leadership

• Interact regularly with clients, government officials, contractors, and team members. Lead meetings and presentations, and represent the company positively. Participate in higher-level project and financial discussions.
