GAI Consultants is seeking a versatile Senior Environmental Manager to join our Power Generation Environmental Engineering Group, working hybrid at our Homestead PA office. The candidate will handle project planning, design, and permitting services related to water resources and water and wastewater projects. General Characteristics

• Well-rounded with knowledge of consulting, industry standards, and company protocols. Participation in professional societies and industry associations is preferred.

Minimum Years of Experience

• 16+ Years of experience

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences or a related field

Certification/Licensure

• Driver's License

Technical Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate project tasks, providing guidance to junior staff. Support their familiarity with task management and financial aspects.

Project and Task Management

• Begin to serve as Project Manager on midsize to large projects.

Management, Supervision, and Guidance

• Lead the environmental scope of projects. Receive support from Business Sector Leaders and higher officials. Manage staff with diverse skills, focusing on career development and technical growth.

Communication, Teamwork, and Leadership

• Interact routinely with clients, government officials, contractors, and others. Lead meetings and presentations; possess marketing and sales skills. Represent the company positively. Collaborate with Task Managers and Business Sector Leaders regularly. Attend meetings with higher-level officials regarding project status and financials.
