Job summary

AEI Consultants is seeking a Senior/Principal Environmental Consultant to lead the Site Mitigation team in the northeast region, with a national scope as opportunities arise. You will guide subsurface investigations, remedial actions, regulatory negotiations, and client communications while ensuring project quality and profitability.

The role involves leadership of the northeast region, potential nationwide expansion, staff mentorship, and business development activities.

Qualifications

• 15+ years experience as an environmental consultant with project management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong business acumen
• Entrepreneurial spirit with growth contribution and self-starter attitude
• Senior level understanding of environmental contamination and project budgeting is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead technical reviews of environmental reports and guide proposal development
• Serve as SME for regulatory programs in NJ, NY, PA, CT, MA, MD and others
• Provide mentorship to junior staff and guidance on regulatory matters
