Jobgether, working with a partner client, seeks a Senior Environmental Practitioner based in the United States to lead environmental planning studies, assessments, and permitting for development projects. You will supervise multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with public and Indigenous communities, and drive project delivery from scoping to results.

The role emphasizes client relationship development, business growth, mentoring colleagues, and staying current with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• University degree or higher in environmental/physical science, engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years in environmental consulting or related setting with focus on assessments and permitting.
• Knowledge of provincial and federal environmental legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Experience preparing regulatory permit applications and submissions.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to lead diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead scoping, development, and execution of environmental planning studies and management programs.
• Support EIA, compensation, offsetting plans, and permitting at provincial and federal levels.
• Plan and implement field programs for natural resource management and infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and provide technical direction.
• Contribute to proposals, budgets, and client relationships.
