Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Environmental Permitting Specialist to join its Environmental & Sustainability team in the United States. You will lead regulatory guidance, permitting and compliance for complex energy and infrastructure projects, shaping strategy and delivering practical, defensible documentation.

You will collaborate with engineering and project teams, mentor professionals, and contribute to business development while upholding high safety and environmental standards across key

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Planning or related discipline.
• Typically 10–20 years of progressive environmental consulting/engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEPA, CEQA, FERC and air/water permitting frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental permitting, regulatory and compliance solutions for energy and infrastructure projects.
• Develop practical permitting strategies considering regulatory requirements, schedules and client objectives.
• Lead air quality permitting deliverables including stormwater management and SPCC planning.
• Guide environmental and social impact assessment activities under NEPA, CEQA and FERC.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate environmental requirements into project planning.
