Whitman, Requardt & Associates, LLP in Richmond, VA seeks a Senior Environmental Project Scientist/Planner to lead environmental permitting efforts and mentor staff while driving client growth across transportation and infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will coordinate with regulators, manage scopes and budgets, and provide strategic guidance on natural resource issues, wetlands, and regulatory compliance.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in Planning, Environmental Management, Environmental Science, Biology, Geology, Natural Resource Management, or a related field.
• 20+ years of experience managing environmental permitting, natural resource, ecological assessment, and compliance projects, including permitting strategy development, environmental reviews, and ecological resource studies.
• Professional certification such as PWS/PWD/VSWD/CWB/GISP/AICP/PE.
