Job summary

WSP is seeking a Lead Consultant with 10+ years of experience to join the Earth & Environment Team in the Pacific Northwest. The role focuses on identifying new clients and leading site investigation, remediation, and EH&S projects while coordinating with multiple offices to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Environmental Engineering, Safety and Occupational Health or related field.
• 10+ years post-education experience.
• 4+ years business development experience; government and/or private sector.
• Staff management and leadership ability.
• PM experience with deliverables, schedules and budgets.
• Demonstrated expertise with environmental regulations.
• Experience with environmental site investigations, remediation, field management, sampling.
• Knowledge of EH&S monitoring equipment.
• Proficient in MS Office and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new clients for WSP's environmental business through networking.
• Manage EH&S projects involving site characterization, remediation, surveys, and compliance.
• Conduct data analysis and reporting; recommend remedial solutions.
• Provide technical review to ensure regulatory and contract compliance.
• Travel to project sites primarily in the Pacific Northwest; occasional national travel.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate group assignments as needed.
• Direct field and office technical tasks for SIR and EH&S groups.
• Lead proposals, pricing, and client presentations.
• Prepare and review technical reports, proposals and cost estimates.
