Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or equivalent coursework.
• Two years of public health experience with an agency.
• Experience inspecting facilities and enforcing health-related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate environmental health risks and advise on concerns.
• Conduct site and soil evaluations for onsite sewage disposal.
• Inspect onsite sewage disposal systems and approve designs.
• Review engineered sewage disposal designs for regulatory compliance.
• Investigate sewer-related complaints and pursue compliance.
• Inspect food establishments and perform plan reviews.
• Conduct epidemiological and complaint investigations of food facilities.
• Operate testing equipment and analyze data collected during inspections.
