Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer in Denver to lead complex remediation projects, including remedial investigations, feasibility studies, design and remedial action implementation. You will supervise teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage client relationships to deliver safe, cost-effective solutions.

Preferred candidates have 12+ years in remediation, PM experience, and expertise with VOCs/SVOCs, PFAS, and field investigations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or closely related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or license recognized by the local licensing board.
10+ years of experience in remedial investigation, design and remediation actions with project management.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work with clients and agencies.
Experience with soil and groundwater remedial technologies preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead remedial investigations, feasibility studies, design, and remedial action projects.
Serve as Engineer of Record for remedial design and review deliverables.
Mentor junior staff and supervise investigation teams in field and office settings.
Manage client relationships, budgets, and regulatory agency negotiations.
Support business development and preparation of proposals.
