Job summary

DT Midstream seeks a Senior Environmental Engineer to lead environmental permitting and regulatory compliance for midstream energy projects. You will serve as the technical lead for permitting, coordinate with federal/ state agencies, oversee consultants, and guide projects from planning through operations.

You will develop permitting strategies, manage NEPA reviews, and ensure adherence to environmental regulations while maintaining project schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Environmental Science.
• 6 years of related experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient communication and interpersonal skills.
• AutoCAD or ESRI GIS experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental permitting for midstream projects.
• Manage NEPA reviews including EA and EIS.
• Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies and tribal governments.
• Oversee environmental consultants and project teams.
• Develop permitting strategies to minimize risk and support schedules.
• Prepare permit applications, technical studies, and regulatory reports.
• Monitor regulatory developments affecting natural gas infrastructure.
