Job summary

EDGE is seeking a Senior Environmental Permitting Project Manager to lead permitting and regulatory compliance for major energy infrastructure in the United States. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with federal and state agencies, and support projects from feasibility through permitting and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Ecology, Natural Resources, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7+ years of environmental permitting and regulatory consulting experience.
• Demonstrated experience supporting energy infrastructure development projects.
• Experience preparing federal and state environmental permit applications.
• Strong understanding of Clean Water Act 404 and 401, Rivers and Harbors Act 10, NEPA, and permitting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental permitting and regulatory compliance efforts for energy infrastructure projects across the United States.
• Prepare environmental documentation supporting FERC applications and authorizations.
• Develop permitting strategies and regulatory roadmaps to support schedules and client objectives.
• Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies throughout planning and implementation.
• Support route selection, feasibility studies, and environmental constraint analyses.
• Prepare and oversee permit applications under CWA and other statutes.
